As our in-house shipping agents, Transit Port Services provide a service extending throughout the River Medway and Thames, and can also arrange Customs Clearence, Stevedoring and Road Haulage.

Port Limits
Crown Wharf is a NAABSA Berth (Not Always Afloat But Safe Aground) and depth at low water is around 2.5 metres. Maximum draft on Crown Wharf is 8 metres on spring tides and the maximum length of vessel accepted is 123 metres.

Ship’s Agency and Pilotage

This map shows the location of N.E Spit and Medway Buoy.
Vessels below 90 metres may take a pilot from Medway Buoy providing their charts are up to date. All other vessels must take a pilot from N.E Spit.
